  • Look at the beginning of the day what you want to do and how you want to divide your time. And definitely don't forget to plan time for yourself! This gives you oversight and peace of mind. Be realistic and remember that not everything needs to be done by the end of the day. Make choices!

Provide clarity for the people around you

  • When you're working at home, it is different for your housemates then when being to the office. Indicate clearly when you are busy and don't want to be disturbed. A dedicated working place at home will help tremendously.

Cultivate attention

  • Start your day with an attention exercise instead of going full steam ahead right away. That makes a big difference. Forget about multitasking. Working with focused attention is more effective and gives more satisfaction. Mindfulness practices can also serve you with this.
