Mindful in your life

Mindfulness is being aware in the current moment. Leaving the autopilot, better handling of stress, more peace of mind and relaxation of your body. Growing awareness of how you stand in life and how it is treating you. Not only thinking but also feeling with your whole body. Getting away from rusted automatic reaction patterns bringing you to where you don't want to be.

This is what you will be working on in this Mindful in your life program. It is more than just a mindfulness training. We will explore the things you run into, that are stressful to you and how that manifests itself. In parallel you will get introduced to mindfulness and start practising the related exercises. Step by step you will start to bring your new insights and experiences into practice in your daily life.

Find your peace, aware of yourself and start enjoying again

We are living in a hasty, stressed world. Fast, faster, fastest sometimes seems to be the only thing that matters. We are all very busy and have little time for the people around us or even for ourselves. Time flies and before you know another week, month or year has passed! Check yourself, when do you still have real moments of peace and quietness in the rush of every day? When do you take a break at work to relax and unwind?

Through the internet, the global communication and (social) we are flooded by information and external stimuli. This has a major impact on us both mentally and physically. In this program you will be working on addressing the things that give you a lot of stress and you will discover what mindfulness can do for you in daily life. And that you will be practicing.

Answer the questions below. They represent the 8 main factors of mindfulness. You may download this handy checklist. Do you want to share your experience? I am curious to hear your story!

Open view

Can you see the events happening in your life as if they are taking place for the first time? Or do you know what will happen right away?

No judging

Do you judge people you meet right away or do you allow them to be different than you thought?

Patience

Do you take time for yourself, allow others to take time or are you always in a hurry?

Acceptance

Can you accept if something happened or do you think always what if.....?

Letting go

Do you keep a spastic hold to objects, people and things that must be done or can you let go?

Trust

Are you always afraid that things will go wrong, that people will abandon you or can you trust that in the end everything will turn right?

Compassion

Can you grow compassion for yourself and someone else?
And what is your result? How mindful are you in daily life?
Is the result better than expected, then smile to yourself. Is it disappointing? Then also smile to yourself; with this insight you can get going! And remember, mindfulness is also endlessly starting fresh again; every moment of your life!
